Privacy Policy for MeteoFlow

Last updated: April 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how MeteoFlow ("we," "our," or "the app"), provided by MeteoFlow, handles information in connection with your use of our iOS application.

We have designed MeteoFlow with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data about our users.

Information We Do Not Collect

MeteoFlow does not collect any of the following:

  • Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
  • Account information (we do not require registration)
  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
  • Usage analytics or behavioral data
  • Contacts, photos, or other device content
  • Any data for marketing or advertising purposes

Location Data

MeteoFlow can use your device's location to show weather forecasts for your current position. This is handled entirely on your device:

  • Location access is requested only with your explicit permission through the standard iOS system prompt.
  • Your coordinates are used solely to fetch the corresponding weather forecast from our weather data provider.
  • We do not store your location on our servers, do not associate it with any identifier, and do not share it with third parties for any purpose other than retrieving the forecast.
  • You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.

If you prefer, you can use the app without location access by manually selecting a city.

Weather Data Provider

Weather forecasts are provided by MeteoFlow, our weather data source. When you request a forecast, the app sends the coordinates (either from GPS or from a city you selected) to MeteoFlow to retrieve the forecast. No personal identifiers are transmitted with these requests.

Third-Party Services

MeteoFlow does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or social media SDKs.

The app may use Apple's standard developer tools (TestFlight, Xcode crash logs) for diagnostics. These tools are operated by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive any personally identifying information through these tools.

Children's Privacy

MeteoFlow does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Data Security

Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is no user data at risk of being compromised on our side. Communication with our weather data provider is performed over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Other Laws)

Since we do not collect or process personal data, there is no personal information for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you have any questions about this, you can contact us at the address below.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's App Store listing.
